Names released in fatal Stanley County crash
FORT PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — A man has been identified as a victim in a two-vehicle crash that happened Friday, April 12, two miles west of Fort Pierre. Lawrence Woodward, 81, of Dupree was driving his Chevrolet Silverado on US Hwy. 14 on Friday, April 12, at about 3:38 p.m. when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety. The driver of a Dodge Ram was in the oncoming lane and attempted to swerve to avoid the Silverado but was unable to. Both vehicles collided on the passenger side of each truck.

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (Dakota News Now) - Dordt takes down Jamestown, but gets shutout by Midland in the first day of the GPAC Softball Tournament. HOW IT HAPPENED: The Dordt Defenders took a 4-2 decision from Jamestown in game one of the Great Plains Athletic Conference Post Season Tournament played at the American State Bank Sports Complex on May 1-2.
