Muncie man sentenced to 15 years for role in interstate drug conspiracy
MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man convicted of participating in an interstate drug ring has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Lance Michael McGee, 32, had pleaded guilty — in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis — conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver controlled substances. He was sentenced at a recent hearing by Judge Richard Young.

Storms may redevelop Wednesday afternoon, with isolated severe storms possible over south central Indiana from mid-afternoon into the evening. Damaging winds, large hail, and flooding are the primary threats.
Thomas Kinghorn to be honored with chamber's Legacy Award
MUNCIE, Ind. — Thomas Kinghorn has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 Legacy Award presented by the Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce. According to a news release, the award is presented annually to an individual or individuals who have made "extraordinary, sustained, and positive contributions to the Muncie-Delaware County community at large, and who has provided leadership in the development of programs, events, and/or new traditions that promote goodwill and community pride."
