West Park Place Elementary School hosted its annual Fitness Night on May 8. The event promoted fun activities to help improve fitness and nutrition. Attendees included the Newark Police Department, the Newark High School football team, Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids, the UD Cooperative Extension, Dr. Lindsey Hughey (a West Park parent and owner of DrivePT), and West Park staff members.
