Middle Country Public Library, 101 Eastwood Blvd., Centereach hosts its annual Museum Day at the Museum Corner on May 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. with 30 local organizations participating. Geared for children and their families, the event will feature science experiments, arts and crafts, live animal visits, and interaction with museum displays and artifacts. As the flowers bloom and the trees green with life, there’s no better way to spend your days than by enjoying the outdoors with your fur family. Sunny beach walks with my dog always make me think of the animals in our shelters who are still waiting to find their perfect fit. There are currently 45 dogs and 56 cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation that are ready and waiting to find their fur-ever families. In an effort to shed light on some furry friends that are available for foster or adoption, SASF will be participating in an Adoption Event at Lenny Bruno Farms in Manorville on May 18th and May 19th.
