Johnston County Sheriff's Office investigating attempted armed robbery, assault at Wilson's Mills home
There was an attempted robbery at a Wilson's Mills home early Wednesday morning. Around 1:45 a.m., Wilson's Mills police said two suspects entered a home on Maple Tree Lane and attempted to take personal belongings from someone in the home. Both suspects fled the scene without any stolen property, according to police.
