Miami Police Officers assist getting Bo Duke back on the road!

MIAMI, Okla. (KOAM) — The City of Miami shared a photo of one of their officers smiling with actor John Schneider, aka Bo Duke, from the Dukes of Hazzard that was taken Wednesday evening.

City of Miami captioned it, “You never know who might be passing through Miami on historic Route 66...John Schneider!”

But behind the pair? Part of the exhaust system laying on the ground.

The mystery continued as the police shared a photo that John Schneider had shared!

“You never know who you will meet,” Miami Police state. “A big thanks to Officer Cummings and Officer Weaver for representing our community and their amazing service to Miami.”

And then the actor himself shared online, he had some RV trouble and Miami Police assisted with some repairs!

“Well… you see… um… Thank you to the great law enforcement in Miami and to their very own ‘Cooter!’ Greatly appreciate your hospitality all!”

‘Cooter’ was a character on the tv show Dukes of Hazzard that owned a tow service and auto repair business.
