First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Perhaps the best way to project a program’s success in a given year is a simple formula: Look at the prior year, position by position, and then gauge if there are overall upgrades based on what we have seen to this point. We do that this morning on the offensive side of the ball.
There’s also our analysis of the top 50 roster players, giving insight onto this team’s talent level and depth. Check out our closer look at No. 45, Ny Carr.
In recruiting?
We catch up with Englewood (Co.) Cherry Creek 2026 defensive tackle Tufanua Ionatana “TI” Umu-Cais, who landed an offer from Miami earlier this month. Get his thoughts.
Miami also is pushing for Tampa (Fla.) Sumner four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison, and we update his status.
Plus in basketball we take a closer look inside the game of Miami G signee Divine Ugochukwu.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
Real nice mix of talent and high processors. Divine Ugochukwu is a plug and play guy even as a young player. He mentioned in the CaneSport article that coach L gives his guys a lot of freedom. Maybe too much but if you have the right guys who can process well you can do this. Still I believe coach L runs way too much isolation stuff and not enough pick and roll with size, lengh and cuting.
