GUILTY OF COMMITTING. YEAH, JEAN, AFTER THREE WEEKS OF TRIAL, A GUILTY VERDICT WAS FINAL REACHED AND NOW THE PROSECUTION AND THE FAMILY OF ZACH TERREBONNE ARE HAPPY THAT ANDERSON PEREIRA WILL BE BEHIND BARS. NOW, THE JURY FOUND PEREIRA GUILTY ON ALL FOUR CHARGES, AND THAT IS FIRST DEGREE MURDER, TWO COUNTS OF FALSIFYING PHYSICAL EVIDENCE AND THEFT BY UNAUTHORIZED TAKING. PROSECUTORS SAY SHARE A BODY WAS ATTACKED WHILE HE SLEPT, WRAPPED IN HIS OWN BEDSHEETS AND BURIED IN METHUEN, MASSACHUSETTS. A jury in Manchester, New Hampshire has found a man guilty of killing another man and burying his body in Massachusetts.Anderson Pereira was found guilty of first-degree murder, two counts of falsifying evidence and theft by unauthorized taking.Prosecutors said Zak Charabaty was attacked in 2020 while he slept and was then wrapped in his own bedsheets and buried in Methuen, Massachusetts. The state said this was a complex case with all the evidence being circumstantial, showing the jury cellphone tracking evidence, surveillance video and Apple Watch tracking that placed Pereira at the burial site and other locations related to the killing. Prosecutors said circumstantial evidence can be as powerful as direct evidence and are happy the jury saw it that way. Pereira will remain incarcerated until his sentencing hearing on April 5.
