Two men, one woman arrested for possession of drugs following search warrant in central Topeka
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Three people were arrested for possession of drugs following a search warrant in central Topeka, Kan. According to the Topeka Police Department, members of the TPD Narcotics Unit served a search warrant on Thursday, June 6 in the 1800 block of SW Central Park related to an ongoing investigation in Topeka. While conducting the search warrant, officers located synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Two Topeka men arrested for possession of meth in Jackson County
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka men were arrested for possession of methamphetamine in Jackson County, Kan. According to Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy near Mayetta observed a gray Honda Accord with a Kansas license plate around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5. Upon running the license plate, the deputy found that the vehicle’s registration was expired but the plate contained a current 2025 sticker. A Jackson County K-9 alerted to the presence of illegal drugs within the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted, which revealed illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and multiple open alcohol containers in the vehicle.
