BEARCAT BOYS RUN AWAY WITH GPC TRACK TITLE
Karter Weber, Tavin Schroeder win five times between them; 4×100 wins, too. Six first-place finishes and a host of other medal-earning performances helped lead the Freeman Academy/Marion boys to a runaway win in the Great Plains Conference Track Meet in Armour last week Tuesday, April 23. The Bearcats finished with 140 points in the 10-team meet — well ahead of runner-up Centerville’s 97.
