Immanuel overcame an early 1-0 deficit, and pitcher Amanda Herrera kept the Bears (17-10) over the final six innings.
Baseball Recap: Mendota triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Jeremiah Murphy
With a playoff game on the line, Mendota rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Fresno Christian Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mendota also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2022.
