Drone pilot’s aerial video shows tornado’s 11-mile path of destruction
PORTAGE, MI -- A drone pilot from Kalamazoo mapped the aerial path of the May 7 tornado with drone footage in the aftermath of the Portage storm. Due to flight restrictions, Staufer had to film the path in small segments and stitch them together. He couldn’t film in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport airspace due to federal regulations.
