BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - These high temperatures have been unseasonably high these past few days, getting up to the high 80s in the lowlands and even the high 70s in the higher elevations. Wednesday night into the Thursday early morning hours sees a change in our weather however. While Wednesday there is potential for scattered rain showers throughout the day, some more severe weather chances are expected throughout our area towards the late evening hours. The more severe weather includes damaging winds and possible hailstorms as well. While these chances remain isolated it is still something to look out for throughout the night. This cold frontal passage will also drop our high temperatures quite significantly all the way down into the high 70s, which is just about seasonal average.
