Scattered showers and non-severe storms linger through Wednesday
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - A lot of rain has fallen in NCWV over the last few days, causing flash flooding for many, especially in our northern areas. The bad news is the rain isn’t done yet, but the good news is there’s not much more heavy rain in store. Scattered heavier rain within thunderstorms will continue into Monday night, but taper off heading into Tuesday morning. A few more disturbances passing through our area will bring back scattered showers and a few non-severe storms for Tuesday afternoon all the way through Wednesday evening. These disturbances will also usher in cooler air, keeping our highs below average for the next few days, with Wednesday being the coolest. Thursday through Saturday will be drier days thanks to high pressure taking control. This lack of rain will get our temperatures back up by the end of the week and start of the weekend. Sunday looks to be our next chance of showers past Wednesday.
Hit or miss storms possible Tuesday & Wednesday; drier weather on the way
