UTV crash in Chenango County kills 52-year-old operator, injures passenger
The Chenango County driver of a utility terrain vehicle was killed, and a passenger was injured in a crash Wednesday night in the Town of Smithville. According to Norwich-based New York State Police investigators, a UTV driven by William J. Williams, 52, of Greene, went out of control at about 9:30 p.m. on Waldon Road, before leaving the roadway, striking a tree and flipping on its side.
