Oak Hill woman sentenced for drug crime
FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – An Oak Hill woman has been sentenced to prison for dealing fentanyl. Ella S. Callahan pled guilty to selling fentanyl to a confidential informant in March 2023. The investigation also discovered that she had sold the drug four times for over 1800 dollars. The substance she sold also contained a powerful horse tranquilizer as well.

MOUNT HOPE, WV-With only four Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco contests left on the 2024 calendar, the miniseries rolls into Beckley Motor Speedway this Saturday, May 11 for the annual running of the ‘Beckley USA 100.’ Established in 1977, the ‘Beckley USA 100’ is rich in history, but the storied race has never been sanctioned by the Spring Nationals tour until now. A whopping $20,053 top prize has been earmarked for the winner of Saturday’s 100-lap headliner out of an over $63,000 Super Late Model purse.

SYNOPSIS: Expect one shower, perhaps a thunder rumble between 8-10 p.m. The west to northwest wind will pick up as a cold front pushes through. A few sprinkles are likely Friday morning, becoming occasional showers during the morning. The high temperature will only reach 60 degrees. The rain tapers off Friday evening, and then fog develops prior to daybreak on Saturday.
