CCS students participate in first rodeo of the season
Several Chase County High School students traveled to McCook for the Southwest Nebraska High School Rodeo on April 20 and 21. The event was held at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in the Kiplinger and Alice Arenas. This two day event was the first rodeo of the spring high school rodeo season. The events started at 8 am on both Saturday and Sunday. Around 110 students from all over the state participated across several events. Participants earn points, which are added up over the season and help determine who earns a spot at the Nebraska High School Finals in June.
