Ohio female prisoner escapes, officials use drones, K9’s and aircraft to find inmate

Officials say they found an escaped inmate after using drones, K9’s and an aircraft.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said they had an inmate, Nicole Pauley age 33 from McConnelsville Ohio, being transferred to them from Morgan County.

Officials said Pauley escaped from SR 78 and Swazey Rd in Monroe County.

Once on scene and speaking with the Morgan County Transport Deputy, Deputies and Highway Patrol Units set up a perimeter around the vast wooded area. Units searched the area with the use of Drones, Aircraft and K9’s.

Officials say Pauley was located at 4:12pm, she escaped at 1:35 pm on Monday

Pauley was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries that was sustained during her escape from Morgan County.

Pauley is facing charges on Arson, Assault on Transport Officer, and Escape.
