Interest in Hillsboro home grant program picking up
A housing grant program set up in February by the Hillsboro Economic Development Corp. to spark new home construction in the city appears to be on the verge of paying off. Dustin Nagel, who serves on HEDC’s board of directors, told the board Monday that he has had a handful of inquiries from local residents and contractors living outside Hillsboro asking how they can tap into the $10,000-a-home grant program.
