Yavapai Sheriff seeks info on alleged Mesa rapist
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is looking for other possible victims after arresting a Mesa man last month in the Aug. 17, 2023, rape of a woman in the Mayer area. Brian Jacob Hernandez, 36, was arrested last month after sheriff’s deputies and the Mesa Police SWAT team raided his home April 12 and authorities say there may be other assaults he can be tied to in Mesa and Scottsdale.
District of Arizona works to improve handling of MMIP cases
