KY Court of Appeals upholds firing of ex-LMPD officer whose shot killed Breonna Taylor
Kentucky's Court of Appeals has upheld the firing of a former Louisville Metro Police Department officer who fired the shot that killed Breonna Taylor. Myles Cosgrove was one of the three officers who fired shots during the botched raid on Taylor's apartment in March 2020. It was later determined that one of Cosgrove's shots killed Taylor.

Air Quality Alert issued for Summit County through midnight Monday
The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency has issued an air quality alert for Summit County through midnight Monday. The air quality index for the Akron area was 71 as of 7 a.m. Monday, which is considered "moderate," according to AirNow.gov. The air quality will be unhealthy toward sensitive groups. Children, the elderly and those with breathing conditions are advised to shorten the amount of time they spend outdoors today, according to the National Weather Service.
