Schreiner shines as Marinette girls shred Antigo

ANTIGO, Wis. — Sierra Schreiner lit up the scoreboard as the Marinette girls soccer team hammered Antigo 8-2 in non-conference action on Tuesday.

Schreiner, the reigning two-time North Eastern Conference Offensive Player of the Year, showed off her scoring prowess with a four-goal outing against the Red Robins.

Schreiner also did a superb job of setting up her teammates, collecting three assists on the afternoon.

Josie Smerchek, Bry Torkko, Jade Jones and Peyton Gamelin all had goals on Tuesday. Smerchek also tacked on an assist.

Marinette goalkeeper Lacy Carivou notched four saves.
