Tornado captured on video near Mud Butte, SD Monday afternoon
Joshua Tatman caught this tornado around 12:45 PM MST, just south of Mud Butte, SD... 30 miles ENE of Newell, SD. Thus far no damage and no injuries have been reported. This tornado appeared to "jump" several times as it moved northward towards Highway 212 and Northeastern Butte County - this means the tornado possibly receded back into the storm and then touched back down several times. The tornado warning was allowed to expire right as the storm approached Hoover, SD.

Name Released Of Man Killed In Black Hawk Crash
MEADE COUNTY, S.D. - A 42-year-old man lost his life on Friday, April 12, in a single-vehicle crash in Black Hawk, SD, Meade County. Preliminary details suggest that Nathan T. Wheeler was traveling northbound on Erickson Ranch Road when his vehicle veered off the road to the right, entering the ditch. The vehicle rolled over, ejecting Wheeler, who was not wearing a seatbelt. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
