May is Hepatitis Awareness Month, so bringing awareness to the condition is important. To help combat the stigma, and educate us about the testing and treatment options, Kathryn Bizzak, a Nurse Practitioner stopped by to share more. Kathryn demonstrated how a test is done instantly on our host, Morgan Koziar. One of the big misconceptions about the disease is that it’s fatal, however, with proper treatment, many patients can get a cure for Hepatitis C.
