This week in Chariton County, Missouri, there were four notable incidents. A BNSF train collided with an ATV near Mendon, resulting in damage to the ATV and the train engine but no injuries. A Salisbury man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident when he lost control of his vehicle and struck multiple trees. A collision between a dirt bike and a Jeep on Highway 24 left two men hospitalized with serious and moderate injuries. Lastly, a fatal crash on I-70 near Salisbury resulted in one fatality and is currently under investigation by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police.

In the first incident, a convicted felon, Travis Rowe, was found hiding under his staircase and charged with unlawful possession of firearms and resisting arrest.
