"Livingston In Photos," a series shot by reporter Makayla Coffee, highlights the extra-ordinary happenings of your neighbors. HOWELL — Grounds and Greens is determined to become the new go-to spot for golfers and coffee drinkers in Livingston County. For this week's Livingston in Photos, I visited the business after a soft opening Oct. 7 at 120 W. Highland Road (Suite 100) in Howell's Crossroads Town Center. Grounds and Greens is operated by Justin Czarnowski and Ali Abdallah, the latter of which owns the adjacent Howling Howell's Smoke Shop. The business is separated indoors, with golfing simulators on the left and coffee on the right. There are also blended drink options, including the shop's popular Extreme Toffee Coffee. "We wanted to supply something that's good and we're also trying to be cost-conscious for people, too," Czarnowski told The Daily. "We're trying to be a little cheaper than other places because we understand what it's like out there." Pastries are made fresh with the help of Abdallah's sister-in-law,
