Valley Art Center to bridge art, road construction and community in colorful public art project: Valley Views
CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio—The Valley Art Center will unveil its public art poster project May 31 to improve the view of the Main Street Bridge construction. Eight independent eight-foot posters will be installed on a chain link fence in Riverside Park that cordons off the work site from pedestrians. The posters were designed by area artists and chosen by voters in the community. Seven were selected by the public and the eighth was designed by mural artist Pam Spremuli. Her work is a compilation of elements drawn by community members of all ages, to emphasize the inclusive and collaborative nature of the project.
