Missing 19-year-old found near Mandaree

BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — A missing 19-year-old was found after he crashed his vehicle at 4:30 Sunday morning.

According to the MHA Emergency Operations Center, LaGage Serdahl crashed his vehicle in the West Segment area, near Mandaree. He managed to exit his vehicle and was last seen walking south near a fence not far from the crash.

First responders were searching the area of Highway 22 and Highway 73 for the entire day, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol used air support to scout the area.

The community came together to offer their support, with some people even asking if they could use their drones to help locate him.

Thankfully, at 1:45 PM, authorities say Serdahl was located at a nearby residence and was confirmed: safe.
