A trip to a convenience store turned into a big payday for one Bergen County lottery player.

The New Jersey Lottery announced Thursday on social media that a $50,000 prize was recently won at the Quick Mart on Franklin Turnpike in Mahwah.

The lottery player spent $30 on a $50,000 Loaded Scratch-Off ticket and hit the grand prize.

Bergen County has been a lucky county for the Loaded Scratch-Off game. Since it began in late September, there have been eight $50,000 winners, according to the NJ Lottery website. In all, there are 73 of the 100 top prizes remaining for this scratch-off game.

Here is where in Bergen the other seven $50,000 tickets have been sold:

  • Hackensack: Stop & Shop on West Pleasantview
  • Midland Park: Park Deli and Mini Mart on Godwin Avenue
  • New Milford: Circle P Food store on Main Street
  • Carlstadt: Quick Chek on Washington Avenue
  • Washington: Township Stationary on Pascack Road
  • Edgewater: Acme on River Road
