In my first two columns, I introduced myself and then introduced Coolspring Power Museum. I now wish to do a little sketch on my hometown of Coolspring, Pennsylvania. Living in the same home for 80 years has given me a good feeling of the village. So let’s take a little jaunt around town and time travel back a bit to see the beginnings. Area Man Identified as Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash on Route 153
CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — An area man was identified as the driver in a hit-and-run crash on Route 153 in Woodward Township last month. According to a release issued by Clearfield on Monday, June 3, 27-year-old Cody L. Kruise, of Houtzdale, was traveling north on State Route 153, in Woodward Township, Clearfield County, around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.
Local Couple Accused of Harassing Woman Outside Her Punxsy Borough Residence
PUNXSUTAWNEY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A local couple are facing charges for allegedly harassing a woman outside her Punxsutawney residence. According to court documents, Punxsutawney Borough Police filed criminal charges against 37-year-old Thomas J. Spaid and 44-year-old Kristy Lee Rich, both of Punxsutawney, in District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock’s office on Wednesday, May 29.
