The Richmond Times Dispatch reports that a Virginia church has closed its doors, but not for the same reasons other congregations in the Commonwealth have been shuttered. It was not a declining or aging congregation or financial matters. Victory church has ceased to exist because the pastor has been accused of s$x crimes against a minor and now faces six additional charges.

Johnson, who was formerly employed at one of the post offices she allegedly targeted, appeared today in Newark federal court before U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy Waldor and was subsequently released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
