HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - On June 7, the Staunton Police Department responded to a call after a cyclist was struck at a crosswalk on the intersection of Spring Hill Road and Hendran Avenue in Staunton. The cyclist was knocked off their bike and airlifted to Augusta Health. After a follow-up, SPD learned the cyclist suffered a broken toe and abrasions across their skin.

VERONA — With updates in the family life portion of the Virginia Standards of Learning, the Augusta County School Board adopted an addition to the middle school curriculum at its meeting Thursday, June 6. Harrisonburg wins marathon against Staunton 5-4 in 12 innings
HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - The Harrisonburg Turks defeated the Staunton Braves 5-4 in 12 innings on Tuesday night. Cam Harris scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 12th inning to propel the Turks. Harrisonburg improves their record to 4-4 while Staunton drops to 4-5.
