2 Ohio County Archers Are Headed To Nationals

MCMECHEN,W.Va. (WTRF) – A pair of Ohio County archers are headed to the to the National Archery in the School Program (NASP) National Archery Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky on May 9-11.

Wheeling Central junior Kimber Koehler and St. Michael’s Parish sixth grader Triton Brown.

Koehler placed first in the West Virginia High School Girls Division, she is the first state champion Wheeling Central and Ohio County. She shot a 293 out of a possible 300 to take first.

Brown finished fourth in his division.

To qualify for the National Tournament an individual must place in the top 10 in their division.
