Love Island USA's Ariana Madix celebrates major career milestone

Love Island USA 's host celebrated a new accomplishment.

Ariana Madix and her Vanderpump Rules cast mate Katie Maloney celebrated the launch of their sandwich shop, Something About Her, in Los Angeles, California. Appearing at the opening of the lunch spot, Ariana was seen wearing a white corset with jeans and a long gray cardigan., while Katie wore a white shirt with jeans. The two were all smiles when greeting customers.

Ariana and Katie first announced their plans to open the shop in 2022 but there were a number of issues and logistical setbacks, which caused delays. The sandwich shop's interior design and menu was inspired by Nancy Meyers movies. The name, Something About Her, was intended to evoke memories of a romantic comedy. Ariana revealed that they did not want any sandwich puns for the name.

In an interview with PEOPLE , Katie said: "We talked about names of flowers, and I think we wanted it to sound like a movie title, not really sound like a sandwich shop because it was much more to us than that."

Despite all the problems they were were having, they never lost faith in each other all the business, with Ariana taking this all as an "incredible learning experience" since it is her first time owning a restaurant business.

Ariana said: " We both believed that it would always happen, that we were going to make it happen. There was definitely some moments of deep breathing at times when something else would pop up, and you just have to take a second."

Katie added: " I don't think it was ever a moment of this won't happen, but it was just kind of like, 'Okay, but how much longer are we talking?' 'Are we talking weeks or months at this point?'"

The two are proud of what they have created and revealed that there is a high chance that fans will be able to meet them if they pop down to the shop.

Now that Vanderpump Rules season 11 has come to an end, Ariana is getting ready to host the new season Love Island USA. The show will premiere June 11 on Peacock. In an Instagram post, she expressed that she was "so excited" she "could scream."
