Mercedes G-Wagon Rolls Over in Crash, Takes Out Power Pole

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (KNN) — Three occupants inside a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon were transported to a hospital after a rollover crash into a power pole early Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a rollover traffic collision with one party trapped shortly after 4 a.m. in the 3100 block of Sepulveda Boulevard.

When units arrived on scene, they found that a G-Wagon had rolled over and taken out a power pole.

All three occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital for unknown injuries.

An uninvolved party sitting in a Porsche parked on the shoulder of the roadway, became trapped when power lines from the fallen pole landed on his vehicle.

The male inside the Porsche was not injured and was finally able to exit the vehicle once responding Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews de-energized the lines.

Witnesses to the crash stated off-camera that they heard the Mercedes approaching at a high rate of speed before crashing.
