Dominican national sentenced to prison after Massachusetts authorities seize 70 kilos of cocaine

BOSTON – A Dominican national living in Manchester, N.H. was sentenced in federal court in Boston to possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine. According to the Massachusetts Department of Justice, 38-year-old Miguel Angel Martinez Lugo, a/k/a “Jesus Manuel Encarnacion,” a/k/a “Jose Rosado Rabell,” was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Julia E. Kobick to 14 years in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. The defendant is subject to deportation upon completion of the sentence imposed. In December 2024, Martinez Lugo pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine.
