Bev Proseccheria, the popular Prosecco bar inside a vintage Airstream in Plaza Midwood, is expanding to West Charlotte's Thrift Road. Why it matters: Since opening last winter, Bev has turned a once-unused Plaza Midwood lot into a popular neighborhood hangout. Now, it's bringing its Italian café vibes across town with Pizza Baby . Driving the news: Bev will soft open its second location Wednesday, Oct. 28, on the patio of Pizza Baby West. The new location is in the growing retail district just west of Uptown called FreeMoreWest . Bev owner Michelle Castelloe, who also owns Moxie Mercantile, has been working with Pizza Baby owners Trey Wilson and Steven De Falco on the expansion since March. Customers can walk up to Bev to order drinks or order from its menu while dining at Pizza Baby West.
