STOCKBRIDGE — The Stockbridge Tigers are about to do something no other public school football team from Henry County can claim — play for a state title. History was made Friday night when the Tigers punched their ticket to the Class AAAA state title game with a 45-31 victory over two-time defending state champion Benedictine out of Savannah. The Cadets had won 24 straight games prior to Friday.
