Players across San Joaquin County are deep into playoffs competing in the Sac-Joaquin Section and the CIF State playoffs. Baseball Recap: Linton-Stockton comes up short despite Jamison Fields' strong performance
Linton-Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewood Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Linton-Stockton of the 9-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

The Grizzlies are now just 2.5 games back in the California League North Division Standings after the Modesto Nuts dropped five of their six contests to the San Jose Giants.
