Explore Florida's longest running tourist attraction, and it's not Walt Disney World
If you're looking for more than just a boat ride, the Jungle Queen River Cruise in Fort Lauderdale delivers a full-blown tropical escape.
This four-hour dinner cruise glides down the New River through Fort Lauderdale to the a "tropical isle."
Floridas longest-running tourist attraction has been entertaining visitors since 1935, and its easy to see why.
A tour guide narrates and points out the sights along the way including mega million-dollar homes and yachts on your way to the private island.
"Once you step off this boat, it feels like youre on a tropical getaway and youre in the middle of Ft. Lauderdale," explains Captain Monica Alvanzian.
The cruise combines a hearty feast with island-style entertainment, culminating in a Polynesian fire dance thats equal parts thrilling and mesmerizing.
And if you're lucky, you might be one of the few picked to join on stage to show off your hula moves.
