A new holiday experience lighting up Daikin Park

The Houston Astros have introduced a new holiday attraction, Light Up the Park at Daikin Park. The immersive experience allows families to enjoy half a million lights and 200 displays with an Astros theme.

Anita Sehgal is the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Communications for the Houston Astros.

"Astros fans are really what inspired a lot of the decisions around the displays that we have," Sehgal said.

The holiday experience is the first Christmas light show at the ballpark.

In the video above, you can preview Light Up the Park and its features, celebrating the Houston Astros' past and present.

Astros Light up the Park runs November 22 through January 4, 2026. You can find tickets, here.

A Salmonella Recall Now Reaches Walmart, Target, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods

A widening food recall connected to a multistate Salmonella outbreak now covers dips, salsas, guacamole and prepared meals sold by some of America's largest grocery chains. Taylor Fresh Foods announced the voluntary recall on Aug. 9 after learning that jalapeno supplier Coast Citrus Distributors was recalling peppers because of possible Salmonella contamination. The affected jalapenos came from a grower in Sinaloa, Mexico, identified as the likely source of an ongoing outbreak.
