Taste Cheesesteak Bar is inviting you to flirt with flavor on JFK Boulevard!

This first-of-its-kind eatery offers an inventive take on the traditional cheesesteak and signature cocktails that pair with the Philly favorite.

Owner Kevin Dolce has coined and trademarked the phrase "cheesesteak bar" as he says it's the first restaurant to exclusively serve cheesesteaks alongside cocktails.

Dolce is a first-generation American fusing this Philly staple with his Haitian culture.

He strives to celebrate Philadelphia's rich heritage and culinary ingenuity through every bite.

The cheesesteaks are all infused with a flavorful Haitian blend called epis, it is unlike anything the Philly food scene has tasted before.

The menu is full of a variety of cheesesteak sandwiches and "side jawns", the restaurants loaded French fries.

You can try a traditional beef cheesesteak or try something new such as Oxtail, Salmon or Jerk Chicken cheesesteak.

Vegetarians can enjoy a cheesesteak with cauliflower and portobello mushrooms.

Their lineup of specialty cocktails includes a drink composed of a Lemon Drop with a splash of lemonade and simple syrup known as "Drop Your Location."

Cocktails pair well with the cheesesteaks and the space has a full bar full of options to suit your palate.

These Ritz Cracker Sandwiches Vanish Before the Party Starts

Ritz Party Sandwiches transform familiar buttery crackers into warm, savory appetizers that are exactly the right size for grabbing from a crowded table. Cheese and flavorful sandwich fillings sit between pairs of crackers, creating miniature bites with a crisp exterior and rich center. As they bake, the cheese melts, the filling warms, and the crackers become even more aromatic without losing the delicate texture that makes Ritz crackers so recognizable. Each small sandwich delivers salt, butter, cheese, and savory flavor in one or two bites, which explains why people rarely stop after taking only one. The recipe does not require elaborate pastry, specialty bread, or hours of preparation, yet the completed tray looks more thoughtful than simply opening a box of crackers. It is party food built around convenience without tasting like the cook took an obvious shortcut.

Mama’s Goulash Tastes Like the Dinner Everyone Remembers

Mama’s Goulash combines elbow macaroni, seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, onions, bell pepper, and cheese into a saucy one-pan dinner that feels immediately familiar. The macaroni cooks until tender and catches the tomato-rich sauce inside every curve, while the beef makes the meal hearty enough to satisfy a crowded table. Onion and pepper soften into the background, contributing sweetness and savory flavor without distracting from the combination people expect. Cheese melts through the pasta and gives the sauce a comforting richness that plain beef and tomatoes cannot provide. This is American family-style goulash rather than a formal European stew, and its appeal comes from affordability, generosity, and the ability to turn basic pantry ingredients into a pot that smells like somebody’s childhood kitchen.

Grandma Didn’t Need Fancy Ingredients to Make This Cake

Granny’s Thrifty Made Cake belongs to the dependable category of desserts created to taste good without requiring expensive ingredients, complicated fillings, or professional decorating equipment. The cake is simple, buttery, sturdy, and topped with homemade buttercream that gives every slice the familiar sweetness people expect from an old-fashioned celebration cake. Its appeal is not built around a trendy flavor or an elaborate surprise hidden inside. Instead, it relies on a tender crumb, recognizable ingredients, and the sort of straightforward preparation that allowed generations of home bakers to produce something special from an ordinary pantry. That kind of reliability is precisely why recipes like this survive long after more elaborate desserts have been forgotten.
