Yes, Dr. Sarah Axelrath of Colorado Coalition for the Homeless told the Denver City Council Monday. Axelrath, an addiction medicine specialist, said going after drug traffickers doesn’t make people stop using substances. In fact, she said it disrupts “an already potent and unpredictable drug supply.” Demand doesn’t go down after a bust. New players come to market who could be peddling an even more toxic product.

Kayla Marshell Miller has been missing from Marietta, Georgia (Cobb County), since April 13, 2015, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Her photo above is an age-progressed likeness of how she might have appeared at 19, though she would now be 25.

Alameda’s 90 Day Fiancée, Catie Norboe
Catie Norboe, 26, is Alameda’s own reality TV star. The Alameda native is a pet sitter who is featured on the current season of the hit series 90 Day Fiancé. The show documents experiences of couples who have applied for a K-1 Visa and are required to wed within 90 days. Catie’s fiancé Josh, 30, is from the UK and intends to move to Portland, Oregon to be with her and begin life in the US. Their screen time on the show has included a variety of locations throughout Alameda, including Swell Bar and Whisk Cakes, as they’ve come here to visit Catie’s family and prepare for their wedding.
