August 1-7 is International Clown Week, and we’re celebrating clowns across the world as they entertain and make people laugh.

Our Quad Cities News’ Brian Weckerly spoke with circus clown Leo Acton ahead of his performances August 12 in Buffalo, Iowa with Culpepper & Merriweather Circus.

For years, boiling corn on the cob meant watching a pot, timing it just right, and still ending up with kernels that were sometimes tough and sometimes mushy.
