UPDATE: 12th Avenue, Moline open after tree falls on road

UPDATE: According to a post on the Moline Police Department’s Facebook page, 12th Avenue has reopened.

EARLIER: A post on the Moline Police Department’s Facebook page says high winds have caused a tree to fall into the roadway on 12th Avenue, east of 19th Street.

12th Avenue will be closed between 19th and 25th Streets while Moline Public Works clears the area. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes around the area.
