According to another criminal complaint, Davenport Police were following up regarding an online theft report from another residence in the 4000 block of Glendale Blvd on December 3, 2024. The incident occurred on November 30, 2024. Bond is accused of entering the property without justification, taking a package off the porch and leaving the property with the package in his possession, with the intent to permanently deprive the victim of their property. The package contained several items worth $100.

According to a third criminal complaint, Davenport Police followed up on an online report of theft from the 1600 block of W. Columbia Avenue on December 30, 2024. The theft occurred on December 22, 2024. The defendant, identified as Austin Bond, 30, walked onto the victim’s property without justification and took possession of a package on the home’s porch. Bond walked away with the package, with the intent to permanently deprive the victim of their property and entered a vehicle that left the area. The value of the items inside the package was $57.24.

Bond has three previous convictions for theft; the two most recent ones were from 2014. Due to his previous convictions, these charges will be enhanced to third-degree theft.

Bond was arrested on March 10 and charged with five counts of third-degree theft. He is being held in the Scott County Jail on a combined cash-only bond of $5,000 and has arraignments in these cases on March 13.
