Flyers softball team beats Pequot Lakes in double header during six-game week

The Little Falls Flyers softball team had a busy six-game week, including winning a double header against Pequot Lakes Friday, May 3.

The Flyers did well on defense, exexuting three double plays between the two games. The Flyers won the first game 4-1 and the second game 9-4. The Flyers fell to Albany 13-4 at home Monday, May 6. They also lost to Alexandria 16-7 and to Hutchinson 10-8 in a Triangular contest Saturday, May 4. Individual results were not made to the Record by Press Time.

The Flyers also took on St. Cloud Cathedral Tuesday, May 6. The Flyers lost 5-1

The Flyers’ Leah LeBlanc was one the leaders at the plate, hitting a solo home run. Sequoia Kicker also hit a double. As a team, St. Cloud Cathedral had seven hits and six.

The Flyers hosted Milaca Thursday, May 9 and traveled to Pierz Friday, May 10. They will travel to Foley Monday May 13.
