Meeting planned on Oct. 26 for Hanover's Safe Streets for All project
A public meeting is planned amid the development of Hanover's Safe Streets for All action plan, with the public invited to give input on areas of concern. Development of the plan consists of a 12-month study that launched in September, which Hanover officials said will combine research, traffic data, and the community's input to identify road safety issues as well as to develop strategies and projects to improve traffic safety across Hanover. Once developed in 2027, the project will provide officials with an action plan of safety improvements and programs, along with the priority in which those actions should be completed. A 'public engagement meeting' for the action plan is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, according to an announcement for the meeting.
