Vikings season ends at NSAA baseball tournament
Valley City State’s baseball season came to a end Monday as the Vikings fell to Waldorf 7-1 in a loser out game at the North Star Athletic Association conference tournament. The Warriors scored three times in the bottom of the first inning. A two-run single by Robert Gurney was the big hit in the inning.

Motorcycle driver seriously injured, arrested for DUI after Barnes County crash
BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash, 2 miles north of Valley City, North Dakota around 5:30 Sunday afternoon. The State Patrol says the driver was southbound on County Road 21, 2 miles north of Valley City when he lost control of the motorcycle and ran off the road, stopping in the north ditch.
