Fire crews rescue kittens from fire at Turner residence
TURNER, Maine — A fire burned down a duplex in Turner Tuesday afternoon. The fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. at 124 County Rd., according to Turner Fire Chief Nick Merry. Neither family that lived in the duplex was home at the time. Merry said one of the tenants pulled into the driveway, saw the building on fire, and called for help.
